Medieval Fingerloop Weaving

No needles, no hooks, just your fingers and some thread. Fingerloop weaving is a medieval technique that's older than knitting itself, and it's ridiculously satisfying once you get the rhythm. You'll learn three different braid types and leave with finished bracelets plus extra thread to make more at home. Great for families and anyone who wants to try something completely different.

Your Teacher

Irene (they/them) is a fibre artist and biologist who has taught knitting and crochet classes in South Korea and ran a weekly Fibre Arts group in Seoul for seven months. From knitting needles to medieval braiding, they bring the same enthusiasm and patience to every technique.

Location

Pluche Wol en Garens, Kleverlaan 9, 2023 JD Haarlem (inside the Haarlemmer Kweektuin greenhouse). The store is a short walk from Haarlem station.

Good to Know

Cancellation policy: Full refund up to 7 days before the workshop. 50% refund up to 72 hours before. Cancellations less than 72 hours before or no-shows are charged at the full fee.

Minimum capacity: This workshop requires a minimum of 4 participants. If the minimum is not reached, Pluche will notify you at least 5 days in advance and you will receive a full refund.
