Held in the Kweektuin greenhouse, Haarlem

Learn something new with your hands. Our workshops run on Sundays in the greenhouse, taught by Irene in small groups. Whether you've never held a needle or you're ready to level up, there's a seat at the table. From your first stitch to advanced shaping techniques. Small groups, sustainable materials, all levels welcome.

No needles, no hooks, just your fingers and some thread.

Medieval Fingerloop Weaving

Fingerloop weaving is a medieval technique that's older than knitting itself, and it's ridiculously satisfying once you get the rhythm. You'll learn three different braid types and leave with finished
bracelets plus extra thread to make more at home. Great for families and anyone who wants to try something completely different.

Knitting Basics Masterclass

In three hours you'll go from zero to actually making something. Cast on, knit, purl, cast off, read a pattern, and fix the mistakes you'll definitely make. You'll leave with your first swatch, leftover yarn to keep practising, and an bonline reference guide so you don't have to memorise a thing.
